WIP February layout reveal

Hello there!  I can't believe it has been such a long while since I last blogged.  CHA was last weekend (which was a blast) - but I also helped Nikki with her class at my local scrapbook store.  Then of course the other many activities that is seems we always have going on.  I did lose my voice for a day this week - this usually happens once a year - and the kids are really great about it!  Luckily I think that cold has passed and now things are settling down so I can catch up on my blogging - there is so much that I want to share - I just really haven't had the time too --- so hopefully you will check back this week.

On to some scrappy goodies -- I have to tell you I am a good planner and usually manage my time really well when having to complete design team layouts - but with CHA and getting sick - I tell you it was hard - but I was so ready to get crafty!  And the papers in this kit were so yummy and full of spring delight that it wasn't too hard!

Well I got the main kit to work with this month and it looks as though it is already sold out - but it is beautiful!

This is the first layout I created.  It is a pic of one of my good friends that I have known since elementary school.  She no longer lives in Ca - so we got together when she visited this past month.  I can say that it has been a long time since we took a photo together and glad we got one this time:)
I am completely in love with the peaches, greens and taupes in this kit.  And those little American crafts "frames" I love them - so easy to use:)
*the polka dot paper that is fanned was made using a Scrapping bella stamp - I love it!

I was excited to finally get to scrap these haircut photos.  I think I will attach the bag that has her ponytail that they cut off on the back.  Again the colors - so soft and pretty!  For the buttons I used my Scrapping Bella stamps on the pattern paper - too cute!

In this kit are some darker toned pattern paper from Jillibean Soup - I used them on this layout.  This is Alyson and Daniel this past month -- I love that I caught Mr. D looking at the camera and smiling -- the out takes are too funny!

Again I used the Polka Dot stamp for the circles with a tone similar to the cardstock.  And once again those frames -- too cute!

That's all I have -- I loved working with this kit and have plenty left over to make more - I will be back tomorrow!!  Until then have a Happy Monday!

Michelle
