Summer Activities 3 & 4

  We have been continuing on with our activities and let me tell you, it has been a blessing to have them!  Alyson needs to be kept busy or she gets rather cranky - hee - so I make sure not to tell her what the activity is and that keeps her guessing. ;)

Activity #3 - Finding shapes in everyday objects.  We looked for rectangles, circles, squares, etc.  She was so, so on this activity.  I think she prefers more hands on activities.

 Here she is in a rectangle - LOL!  I had just purchased a chair and she wanted to pose 'in' the box - LOL!  She makes me laugh!

Activity #4 - Sparkle Bottle

All you need is

*glitter or confetti

*empty water/soda bottle

*water

*light corn syrup

I didn't have confetti so I decided to use my stash of glitter.  Alyson always wants to use these so I let her choose the colors.

First you need to fill the bottle a little more than half -full of water.  Then you will add your glitter or confetti.

It's very pretty - reminds me of a lava lamp.  Alyson gave this one a thumbs up!!
