Winter Songfest 2010

Last night Alyson had her winter songfest.  This is for her after school daycare and she has been participating for 3 or 4? years now.  I love watching her.  This year they sang I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.  I love this song.  It has been in my teaching arsenal for quite a few years, and I am glad that Miss Katie got to use it with the kids.

Here she is with her Hippo ears.

She is wearing my necklace because she said it went with her outfit.  :)

Here they were singing Clean the halls, it is a Piggy Back song to Deck the Halls.  They all held up the Fa La La La la signs:)
And here Alyson is with Miss Katie.  :)  Thanks for all you do Miss Katie:)
I took a picture with Alyson, but Ohmmmgee - I looked terrible.  No amount of photoshop could fix it - ha!  That's ok - I have these of my girl and that is what matters.

I have some fun projects coming up.  I can't wait to share.  I will be sharing my December Daily as well.  We have been doing a lot of movie watching (and watching a lot of ELF because it is my favorite), and just hanging out.  Tonight is craft night and Alyson will be directing me on what things she wants cut from my Cricut.  She has been dying to make something, so tonight is the night - wish me luck!

Have a wonderful day!

  1. She's such a cutie! Oooohhhh, if I want to torment my DS, I'll have to play this song for him. He's working his 1st job; it's in retail & of course they have a tape of Christmas music playing...he says that this song must be on there "hundreds of times" & it keeps getting stuck in his head. Poor baby. Unfortunately, he comes home singing it and then it gets stuck in MY head....help please!!
