Even Though (a birthday post)

Even though…
*you’re now seven, you’re still my baby
*you are getting your “big girl teeth”, I still remember your first one
*you got a new haircut this year, I wont forget that baby fuzz you had when you were born
*you don’t let me get anything done around the house, I wouldn’t trade it for anything
*you used to want to live with me until you were OLD, it’s okay that you now want to live next door to me when you get old
*you have a crush on Justin Bieber, I know this is only the beginning of you growing up
*you want to cuddle less and less, I treasure those early morning and late night cuddles even more
*you wear heels any chance you get, I love that you can still run and jump in them like you have tennis shoes on (you get that from grandma)
*you love to sneak my make-up and often break my lipsticks, I love that we are one in the same and one day we will shop for the perfect color for you.
*you want to go to “homeschool” college (where you can still live with mom and drive to college), I know that this may change and that’s okay
*I could go on with this forever, I won’t.  Just know that I love you and wish you the very best birthday ever.  You are my sunshine and my world changed when you came in it.  I am thankful to be blessed with such a beautiful daughter, I love you Alyson!
