The Pumpkin Patch - Part Two

Hi there.  I am finally here to post the rest of our Pumpkin Patch photos. I know you were waiting for them - ha!

I have a lot to share.  I can't help myself when I get to the patch.  We don't have much around us that resembles a farm, like this place.  We love it.

Another reason I like going early in the morning, the overcast sky.  Here Alyson is on the wagon ride around the patch.
We notice all the changes from the previous year when looking where things are planted.

In the distance you can see the pumpkins.
Still on the wagon ride, making our way around the farm.
Never just a smile, but I'll take it.
The wagon drops us off at the corn maze.  This year, they had a sign that the kids could measure themselves on, this way, you can see how you measure up each year.
Again with the face.

Leading the way.  My mom was worried that we would get lost.  Which, if you saw the corn maze, you would laugh, it is tiny.  And we got out safely!
Alyson led us to the center of the maze to these cute vegetable figurines.  Alyson let me take a picture. Yay!

Something about this photo of Alyson reminds me of when she was younger.  Maybe it's the hair?  But I love it.

For the last few years, they have had vegetable picking.  Alyson loves this.  We always spend like, $5 for a baggie of veggies.  But it is worth it, right?
Baby carrots.
With Grandma.
Alyson thought that this green bean was funny looking - we took it, of course.
Look for more veggies, and then while trying to pick some more veggies, she found this.
Do you see the snake?  She calmly came over and told me that there was a snake "over there".  I didn't believe her, so I went over, and this is what I found.  Ewwwwww.  I had to take a picture.

I was surprised that it didn't scare Alyson, she just kept on going with her picking.

After we got our bag of veggies, we heading over to get our pumpkin.
I wanted to get a warty one, but Alyson wasn't that into it. Maybe next year.
I had her pose for me.  My favorite shot of the day.
Our wheelbarrow, that you can see my purse in - ha!  And look, my mom wore flip flops, not heels - yay!

On our way out to get our pumpkin weighed, we saw these flying saucer pumpkins - I LOVE them!  So cool!
I love the sunflowers, so pretty.  I had Alyson go over and pose.  She had to take her pumpkin loaf with her (she looked forward to getting this).

As we were getting ready to leave, we met up with my good friend Monica and her family.  I was able to capture a couple shots, but this is the only one with the two of them that came out.
I love the pumpkin patch.  It is a tradition that we look forward to each year.  No matter how busy things get during the month, we always take a Sunday out to go.  I can't wait to scrap these.

Have a wonderful Thursday!

Michelle
