I am a 33 year old single-mom to a 6 year old named Alyson. She is quite simply, the light of my life. She keeps me on my toes and wants to be involved in all that I do. You will find me blogging about the activities that we do together. There is never a dull moment here...which can be exhausting, but extremely fulling. I love her more than words, and she knows it!
While I am not at home doing activities, you can find me teaching a classroom full of 6 year olds. Definitely a hard but rewarding job, one that I don't take lightly. I have learned so much from those kiddos, and learned how honest they are when you are having a bad hair day! Ha! But in that same breath they will tell you they are their favorite teacher ever!
When I am not being a mom, or a teacher, I am a crafty girl. I love scrapbooking, sewing, and photography. My newest hobby being decorating and organizing. These hobbies, allow me to express myself creatively, and most importantly, destress. I love it!
Now don't kid yourself in thinking I do it ALL, or that I am supermom. Because I am not. My house usually has dishes that need to be washed, clothes that need to be folded, toys that need to be put away, and maybe craft supplies that need to be put away. I am currently working on getting things a bit more organized, but truth be told, I like living in a comfy home, just fine tuning a few things as you will see in my blog.
